Default 6 Speed, 4.1 LSD, Gauging interest

I kind of like my car at the power level it is and the gearing it has. If i crunch my 5 speed, i was planning on 6 speed swap. Plans have changed, i like the precision, gearing and cheapness of the 5 speed. So i'm looking to clear some space and fund some xidas, or some expensive suspension. (i will consider trades for this too)

2003 SE 6 speed with ~37,00 miles. (i did kind of disagree with this with how dirty it was when i got it, but whatever)
I bought it off BoostedSmurf who bought it off Preluding
Looking to get $900, or $600 plus a 5 speed. Or some type of swap for a nice suspension setup.
This is the only picture i have right now, i've got it covered up and buried in the garage. I can get more later.
It has a completely rebuilt shifter. I did clean it up a bit too, it's not this dirty.

I really don't want to ship this thing. I also only drive Miatas so i can't haul it to your house, or i would.

I also have a 4.1 LSD out of a 94-97 car. Unknown mileage. I bought it 3 years ago and it's still in the shrink wrapping the seller wrapped it in. I did cut it small hole in it and it is kind of dirty. I really don't want to sell this as it's not taking up much room. I'll take some offers. Again, i really don't want to ship this thing, it's pretty heavy and awkward.

The 6-speed is super tempting.. but I don't think I could fork up that money right now. Arrrgh.

Just FYI you can fit a 6 speed in the passenger compartment. Put the seat all the way back, and put a sheet over it. Then you should be able to to put the big open section of the trans on the floor area with it leaning back. Carried the last 6 speed I bought 4 hours like that with no problems.

I don't know about a 6 speed but I just sold a 5 speed and the buyer fit it in the trunk of his NA.

Or 4 bolts to remove the passenger seat and put a garbage bag down in the floor.

Hi Erat

I'm on my phone and it doesn't tell me where you are located. I've got a 5speed I could swap and buy your 6speed.

I'm just south of San Jose, CA

+1 for removing the passenger seat. It takes 5 minutes (14mm) to remove the seat. I remove mine all the time when taking my lab for a ride.

I offer confirmation that a 6 speed fits in the trunk. That's how I hauled my spare.
