For sale is my AEM F/IC 6 with boomslang harness. Harness is designed for the 99-00. I will include the harness that came in the box (completely untouched) and the tuning cable.

The FIC worked well the 2 years it was installed with no issues.The FIC was great but wanted more features and I didn't need to worry about emissions testing anymore so I upgraded to megasquirt. Install is quick and easy. I also felt it was easier to tune (less of a learning curve than megasquirt).

Asking $300.

Also have a 99-00 ecu looking for $70 shipped.

 

I think I might have this priced to high so $300 is the new price.

 

Does this plug into the obd port? I am interested.

 

this does not plug into the OBD port. It connects between the stock ecu and harness.

 

Ok, thanks, I'm not familiar with them. Just got a 99 and think this would be a simpler way of adding a little more fun.

With the boomslang harness, you disconnected the oem ecu and connect the boomslang harness. Look here Boomslang Fabrication | AEM F/IC Wire Harnesses
The aem fic intercepts certain signals and changes them to send the appropriate fuel and retard timing.

any interest in selling control unit separate from harness?

 

I would let the control unit go for 250 on its own.

 

Eric, what's the model number? I'm in the market for one, but have a '95, so I want to verify that it works for me first.

 

part number is 30-1910. But I couldn't imagine that it would work on your car since it worked on mine. I know a couple of sensors are different but that's about it.
