BEGi 1.8 EWG Exhaust Manifold, T3/T4, Ceramic Coating
BEGi 1.8 exhaust manifold, external wastegate design, T3/T4 flange, ceramic coated. No EGR bung. 10mm studs (one is missing - I can find a replacement if it is a big deal).
Used for < 5k miles on my 400hp '99.
This manifold is $604 new from BEGi ($519 + $85 for ceramic coating). BEGi Miata Exhaust Manifold 1990-2005. External Wastegate BEGi
$425 shipped in the lower 48.
Tial External Wastegate is available for an additional $150.

BEGi Exhaust manifolds are cast ductile iron. The design is the most efficient, reliable, and proven manifold available! Twenty years and three generations have proven its reliability. All exhaust manifolds feature the new directed pulse design. An internal baffle prevents the flow coming from cylinder 4 from colliding with the flow from cylinder 1, and creating turbulence. The smoother flow of exhaust gases is one small step on the path to more power.
The BEGI Exhaust Manifold is build specifically for the Miata using a external wastegate. The standard flange is the 38 mm External Wastegate. However, if the Ext. Wastegate is send to us, we can use any flange style.
To avoid mounting fastener failure, all exhaust manifolds are drilled for 10 mm studs. Turbo Mounting Hardware (10 mm studs) are included with the manifold.
This manifold is not EGR compatible. An EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp) bung can be added. The bung will be drilled for 1/8 NPT, in the collector are between cylinder 3 and 4. Ceramic coating will make the manifold look nicer longer. It will help to insulate the heat some too. Ceramic coating will add about 1 week to the lead time.
Select the turbine flange to be used with this manifold. BEGi can adapt this manifold to mount a T4 turbo, however please contact us for more information.
