I hate doing this, but I don't know what else to do. I've tried email, bargaining, contacting the site administrator; all to no avail.

Ben, you owe me $70 for the thermostat housing and cover I sent back in September (!) of last year.

I understand things come up in life that are of more importance, and I've been understanding, but now you're blatantly ignoring me. The latest email I sent was last Friday the 29th. You've posted here as recently as the 30th.

Just send me the $70 you owe me. If you need my PayPal address, send me a PM.

Not exactly. He was supposed to replace the powdercoated parts I sent with non-powdercoated parts. You can check out my trader rating to see that he was satisfied with the deal.

I ended up having to purchase the parts on my own, with the total being $69.90.

I have been waiting for a COPS setup for about a year and a half now. I sent him almost 200 dollars and COPS and an Ignition setup, He hasnt responded to me, and im really getting strung up here.

Guys, remember we've only heard one side of this story. I won't comment further except to say that I've met Ben, and he seems like a stand-up guy. Let's withhold judgement until the defendant has spoken.

I bought a torsen from him a while ago, and after not receiving it for a long time I contacted him about it. After much confusion it turned out that it was stolen at the post office, and then returned to him weeks later. In the end after about 2 months of trying to figure out wtf is going on, I finally got my torsen and am happy with it:)

Unfortunately he's already said he's going to pay last month, do you think he'll suddenly change his mind if Pat calls him? I'm sure that post above is only one of many reminders. It looks fairly clear even from the post above that Pat has contacted him and Ben acknowledged the need for payment, yet payment still has not been made. I'd be interested to hear Ben's side, however, its hard to tell if he's seen the thread since he has his last login date blocked.

My thoughts are that a forum mod should be one of the few people on the forum you don't exactly have to worry about bad business transactions. Is that unrealistic?

Had I had his number, or knew where he worked, I would have called before posting this. Since I know neither, this is my last resort.

And Brad's right, I have every PM and email promising some form of payment since December. Without looking through all the correspondence, I'd guess he's promised to send parts, pay for shipping on another item as payment, or just flat out reimburse me 8 times now.

I guess this is what I get for trusting another member here and shipping them parts when there was little to no incentive for me to do so, other than wanting someone to have a matching set of powdercoated pieces.

Who knows whether he's seen this thread. The bigger questions is: If he has, does he care?

I PM'd Rick several months back, and he apparently asked Ben to make the situation right. However, Rick can't force someone to do something they don't want to do.

I had both happen in my dealings during build this spring.

I had 2 business transactions with Ben, in both of which he hooked me up big time... I think both were a little over a year ago. There's always a second side to stories like this, and whatever is happening with him, I hope this is taken care of to the satisfaction of all.

I'm not getting in on this, but I will say that Ben is not in the hospital or in jail.....

I agree with Dopple on this and not really going to get involved but it seem like some part of this story doesn't seem right and unfortunately without Ben's side of the story no one can really assume anything. That and it just seems weird cause Ben's always been a stand-up guy and has helped me out many times and even hooked me up plenty of times.

Oh and thanks for selling him that turbo... it made it's way to my car and it a great little turbo...minus the PITA OE turbo drain fitting:laugh:
