Also to the other member.. I bought the engine from a guy who crashed his miata. He then decided he wanted to build it.. took it apart then realized he doens't have the funds to build the motor.. sold the crank and I bought it off him. I saw the car it came out of .. 95 74k miles.

 

Is the block ok? Front end collision? Rear?

 

No the block wasn't involved.. his car was rear ended.

 

alright, any ideas on where I can pick up a crank for cheap? the 1.6 crank wont work will it?

 

I'd say a junk yard, or planet miata. I'm not sure about the 1.6 I doubt it.. but I could be wrong.
