Billet Water Pump Inlet Adapter - Pre-Order
I came up with a billet water pump inlet adapter to allow more room in and around where most choose to put their turbo and or charge piping. I've had a number of people of time ask about it and it's been something we've considering offering in addition to our existing products. This is a bit more elegant solution of cutting/flipping/welding the factory piece.
The front is tapped 1" NPTF and the rear is tapped 3/8" NPTF so you can use an off the shelf Meziere water pump fitting for your radiator hose along with bringing in your heater hose or turbo coolant line into the back side. This kit will be comprised of:
Pre-Order Pricing will be set at $100 shipped and I'll need at least 5 pre-orders to get this going. Oh snap. I may be interested.

good idea and design
I'll make one myself haha:rofl: |

Yes! I'm in for one of those.

that puts the outlet in the same spot as a flipped mixing manifold. Id be in if it was pointing straight in to the water pump rather than making the 90 towards the front of the car

For the love of god make those o-ringed AN threads instead of NPT.
Otherwise, nice. |

Otherwise, nice. I had initially designed these with the intent on using the Meziere NPT -> hose fitting and I didn't think that they had an ORB -> hose fitting available but it appears they do now. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I might be able to implement. :bigtu: |

Shorten the straight thread length, modify ID (bore out, taper/profile, add radii, etc). On other applications, we make the entire fitting here. This allows you to get creative with geometry. |
I might be in if you're changing to AN/ORB (on both ends). Let me know.

Do you have a CNC lathe? ORB to hose barb would be simple, compared to the pump adapter. Make all the things! Plus you could keep the ORB side short. Typical ORB thread length is way more than necessary.

I might be interested as well. Have to measure radiator clearance

In for one if you go the ORB route
|
Give me a bit to research the thread geometry for these and I will see what I can do. Based on the responses here I think I will be pursuing this route over the NPT as initially conceptualized.
