BELL Twin Screw Lysholm Intercooled Hotside SC kit for 1.6
A friend has an older SC kit he's thinking about selling. The kit was designed by Corky Bell. It features the Opcon Autorotor Lyshom Twin Screw supercharger, which is very efficient blower, the bracketry, intercooler including very nicely done charge pipes, dummy tb, pulleys, hardware, etc, etc. It's a very complete kit. BEGi sold them for appx $3000 when new. Should bolt on and make a smooth and reliable 160 whp*, and have a potential upgrade path over 200 if desired.
Also includes a BEGi FMU and boost gauge (with single gauge pillar mount), an MSD timing retard box, and a set of 1.8NB fuel injectors.
He'd like $825 for EVERYTHING or $650 for the SC kit without the extra stuff (FMU, MSD, boost gauge, and injectors). The extra stuff will not be sold separately unless the SC kit is sold first.
This is probably the least expensive path to +60 whp available.
* As with any FI device, proper installation is critical. An improperly installed autorotor will not live very long.

Pics show main pieces. There is still a box of brackets, hardware, some clamps, some pulleys, vac lines, and other stuff not pictured.
The AFM, neat AFM bracket w/ integrated filter adapter, and throttle body are all included.
Also, I saw on FM's moving page that they have some used autorotor stuff still. So whoever gets this may wish to call FM and get some spare, deeply discounted pulleys and junk.

wow I wish I hadn't just bought another car.....that would have gone perfectly onto the '92 .....and probably made it a wickedly fast little ride....

If I didn't already have one I would buy that in a heartbeat, even for my 1.8.
Just FYI, I just bought a coldside Uber manifold from FM for <$200 that I plan to use with my Autorotor. An adapter plate is needed. But, for the price of that kit, plus the <$200 manifold from FM, plus some fab work, you can get mucho torque for well under $1k.

The Uber manifold is a dual plenum unit with one plenum for the SC output that feeds down for IC plumbing and one plenum that feeds from below for IC output. If you don't want an IC you just plumb from one to the other.
That Autorotor alone is worth $650. Someone buy this thing before I do, please.
