keep your ignorant opinions to yourself, thanks. It's not crappy, it's light as all hell and it works. Definitely worth $1,500 and if he was into racing or saving weight, he would be wise to trade. I'm not racing yet, and I would rather have a black top, preferably with no defrost since I removed my defrost harness. You should take the sticker off the window too, that might help your sale.

Actually, where in central Jersey? I'd come take a look today. Who knows, I might just buy it and store my Chaser top in the basement until someone buys it for $1,200.

Does the Chaser HT weigh less than the OEM? They're both fiberglass, right? The Chaser HT just doesn't have glass, which is the main weight savings...or am I mistaken?

 

The chaser one is like 20-25#s. The oem one is 45-50#'s. Taking 20-30 lbs off a car is great, especially when it has such an impact on the center of gravity like the hardtop would.

 

Remove OEM glass... save weight. Simple formula.
