After my recent piston meltdown I decided to "get fancy" and start tracking per-cylinder EGT via my new (to me) MS3. I did lots of research online trying to find a solution that was reasonable cost but would satisfy my need to know. The EGT-CAN seemed like a good solution, so I bought it.

THEN I discovered that my research was lacking after diving into the installation guide. I contacted FuelTech's "Tech Dept" and was told; "Sorry, this ONLY works with our ECU". I'm skeptical, since this works on the CANbus, but I don't have time or patience to try to decipher how to interface this with the MS3. So, my lack of knowledge is your gain. The original cost for the device itself plus 4 K-type thermocouples is $695 - and returning the whole thing would cost me a 10% (bullshit, but typical) restocking fee. So I'll sell this to any taker for $625.

(Otherwise, I might have to become a "CANbus expert", which is something I DON'T want to do.)
