paul 10-18-2007 09:08 PM

i don't know why they would be different

chokeasphyxia 10-18-2007 10:11 PM

They are- it has to do with the flare at the slave, but I don't know what years the change over is. Is this the braided line that replaces the entire clutch line run, or the short one that just replaces the rubber hose?

paul 10-18-2007 10:42 PM

if it's only the rubber replacement hose they aren't different and it doesn't go to the slave. it connects 2 hard lines.

m2cupcar 10-19-2007 09:05 AM

right on - this is the clutch line to have IMO

replaces the hard and rubber line and gets rid of the associated "crap"

paul 10-19-2007 10:59 AM

that is cool. threading that hardline into the slave can be a bitch sometimes. adding to my want list

Which one is it?

If it is the one from Advanced Autosports indicated in M2cupcar's post at:
http://advanced-autosports.com/prod01.htm

I'll take it. If not, no.

It is a 30min job to change it, including a beer break during and band aiding your knuckles after. It makes a big big difference if you are running a heavier clutch. Remove left front wheel and you have good access. (but why am I telling you? You know this already!)

Is there a difference between the Advance Autosports clutch line vs. the Moss clutch line besides one of the end fittings is different.

UrbanSoot 11-29-2007 12:56 PM

no freaking idea... but i dont need it since im running exedy oem replacement clutch
