Default Brake parts feeler

I may be upgrading to TSE's kit soon, so I'd like to post a feeler to see if anyone is interested in my current front brake setup.

It's 1.8 brackets with Porterfield R4 race pads, and FM stainless steel lines.

Brand new, that's half a SS line kit ($75) and $95 for the pads. They have two light track days (I was having over heating issues both times) and about 100 street miles on them. they're just over .25" thick, with roughly .01" taper. Don't think about driving these on the street, they squeal like crazy. $20 NAPA pads solved that for me, and they're sitting in a box right now.

So it's about $200, if you manage to get the brackets for $30, and it's a great race brake upgrade for anyone with a 1.6.

I'd like $150 shipped. Any takers? $125 shipped for those of you who already have 1.8 brakes. Like I said, the pads are off, and it'd take me about a week to get the brackets and lines off the car, packaged, and shipped. The group buy for the TSE stuff ends January 31st, so I'd need to know within a week. Thanks!

They're the fronts only, FYI. I'll see in a couple days if I have interest in any of the other parts.

I'm 90% sure they will. I can take pictures of the pads, the brackets look like your 1.6 brackets, but they fit 1.8 rotors. I believe they have black exhaust paint on them. I have a wheel off right now, I'll snap a picture in the morning.

Okay i also found on www.car-part.com caliper and brackets for 40 each at a place not too far. If they have all 4 might go with that, if not ill scoop these up from you then try and find a rear set.

Yeah, they main price savings of this deal is the barely used front race pads, and front SS lines.

Oh, and you do know that you use your 1.6 calipers, right? For the 1.8 brake upgrade you only chane rotors, pads, and brackets. Which is nice since you don't need to disconnect any hydraulics.

I know price wise with the lines, pads and front brackets its a good price. I will say i didnt know all i would need are the brackets but i am more interested in the rears too as i plan on running my FC 4 pot calipers in the front and 1.8l brakes in the back. I was going to do the 1.8 in the front for now until i have time to gets brackets made and wheel spacers for the fc calipers. Also i have SS lines so i would only need brackets and pads.

Here's the pictures. I could throw in the rotors and NAPA pads, so you'd have a complete front 1.8 swap to use whilst you wait for the FC caliper shenanigans. All that without the race pads or SS lines, $85 shipped?

As the TSE brackets are shipping soon, and the rest of the parts are on their way, these are about a week or less away from being removed. Any takers?

$125 shipped for:

front 1.8 brackets
used 1.8 rotors
used 1.8 street pads
barely used 1.8 Porterfield race pads
FM SS front brake lines

I'll even throw in my 1.6 calipers for free. $25 shipped to anyone else, they're heavy.

Bump. $100 shipped. The pads alone cost nearly that much. You get 1.8 brackets and SS lines for $5.05 more.

Brake lines and brackets sold.

I still have the Porterfield race pads available, $30 shipped.

Also 1.6 front calipers, $40 shipped.

I also found my two pairs of stock coils, $45 shipped each. They're off a '93, if it makes any difference.

They weren't when I pulled them off, that was a year ago though. I can't varify since they're not on a car but they've been in a semi-heated garage the whole time.
