We are re-designing the BEGI-S and SSM downpipes. So the old one on the shelf are being sold at a reduced price. They are all brand new, include wideband O2 bungs, and mounting hardware.

Did you guys decide to get rid of the fat flange on the turbine that only allows 3 threads to engage?

 

Yep, we are changing it to a separate vent tube that is about 4" long. Faster to make and easier to install.

Does my lifetime warranty allow me a free upgrade to the new pipe?

 

Unfortunately, the downpipes do not have a lifetime warranty.

I think they should change it for you..if its not working well...

 

I do not see a reason for them to exchange it for free. When the 2003 WRX came out, did people get a free upgrade to the 2004 model? Im sure they will still honor their warranty if any problems will happen on all the other pipes.

 

I just found a 1.6L BEGI-S downpipe in stainless. It also has a wideband O2 bung.
