BRP MP62 Supercharger Kit. Some background on the kit first and a few things to be aware of.

The original owner had this running on an NB1 but it fits on my NA8. There may be some small hood rubbing issues on an NA since the hood line on an NB is a little taller. I had to massage the hood ribs with a rubber mallet or enlarge the rib holes for clearance in a couple spots. I did no major cutting on the hood and you would not even notice the changes unless I pointed them out.

So this setup should be able to fit an NA8 or NB. No idea if it will work with a 1.6 NA.

Also another note is that I was running this with an NB IACV which is easy to do with a Megasquirt. The dummy throttle body and charger mount (depending on where you mount it) is for an NB IACV only so plan accordingly.

Before I installed the charger I replaced the oil and it has approximately 2000 miles on that oil change. Also the bypass valve actuator is fairly new.

Asking $1800. This includes shipping to the lower 48 states. I expect it to be fairly expensive to ship due to the weight. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

What the kit includes

The MP62 super charger and all the mounting hardware
The intercooler down pipes, silicon connects and clamps. Not the intercooler or radiator panels (I am keeping them)
120mm Crank Pulley
My custom made intake tube and AEM dry filter
NB dummy throttle body with IAVC block off plate
2 super charger belts
Throttle position sensor mounts for both NA and NB
An extra big throttle body (cheap knock off)
1 new container of supercharger oil and a new coupler
An NB style air filter shield (I never used this but can toss it in if you want it)
I can also provide a bunch of docs and install manuals on a flash drive

Things you will need

These are items you will need to supply yourself if you want to get this running correctly

Engine management. Either a fuller after market ECU (like Mega Squirt) or some type of piggyback time/fuel cards
Wide band O2 (for tuning)
An intercooler or some other type of system (meth injection?) to cool the charge
Bigger injectors
NB IAVC (easy to do with MS)
Spark Plugs NGK-BKR6E (1 step colder)
Not 100% needed but I recommend a fuel pump too. The DW200 is $100 on Amazon

Honestly not sure what I'm doing yet.... For now the car runs like a top back to stock and on the MS3 so may just enjoy that this summer and see what happens with my Miata slush fund

 

I know this is sold but I have a similar setup. Would you be willing to share your tune with this if you still had it? No problem if not. Bet this this was fun!
