Built 1.8 Motor and 360rwhp Supercharger kit
I'm selling the motor and supercharger setup from my SSM car. The combination of the two made 360rwhp on E85 and 316rwhp on 91 this spring. All parts were put on the car when I built it in the spring of 2012, and were used ONLY for autocross in the period since then, with extremely limited street miles (driving to/from the alignment shop, essentially.)
If you buy this whole setup, it's essentially a turnkey way to get your car to nearly 360rwhp or more. The SC has tons of room to add more boost on top of where I was running it.
Engine: Asking 3500$
* 1.87L 99-style motor (no VVT)
* 9:1 Wiseco Pistons (from Flyin Miata)
* 949 Rods
* Supertech 1mm oversize valves, springs, and retainers
* ACL Bearings
* ARP Rod bolts/main studs/head studs
* Pre-01 head gasket (best with coolant reroute)
* Pics available here: Index of /pics/miata/partout/engine
Supercharger Kit: Asking 3500$
* Intake manifold custom cast and built by Corky Bell
* Lysholm 1600AX supercharger
* Custom automatic tensioner and bracket
* Custom throttle body adapter
* 75mm Mustang-flanged Throttle Body modified with the stock Miata throttle cable receiver, includes TPS and wiring pigtail
* Mustang Idle Air Controller and wiring pigtail
* Custom manifold support brace (supports the manifold+SC with the block so the intake studs don't take the load)
* GM IAT sensor pre-installed including wiring pigtail
* Pics available here: Index of /pics/miata/partout/superchargerkit
Intake for the Supercharger Kit: Asking 200$
* Pulls air from the area by the driver's passenger headlight
* You can see the intake in the pic at the top
Intercooler/Piping: Asking 400$
* RX7 Aluminum Air-air Intercooler
* Custom brackets welded to mount on the passenger side of the radiator spot using stock threaded holes
* Pipe/couplers to hook the supercharger kit to the intercooler
Radiator/Coolant Reroute: Asking 400$
* Civic 3-row racing radiator
* Custom brackets welded to mount on the driver's side of the radiator spot using stock threaded holes
* BEGi coolant reroute kit
* Custom tubing to route everything only on the driver's side of the car
* Kept the car cooler than spec miatas ever ran, even on 105 degree days with back to back multiple driver prosolo runs
Header: Asking 500$
* Racing Beat 99 4-1 header
* Ceramic coated by performance coatings
* Wrapped with DEI titanium header wrap
Exhaust: Asking 1500$
* Fully custom 3" Stainless Steel exhaust from the header back
* Resonator and Muffler to keep noise around 92db
* Includes bolt-on extra resonator for very low-noise sites (<90db)
* Designed with exhaust hangers for an NA car
Lots of other supporting parts available (clutch, flywheel, fuel system, ignition, motor mounts, Hydra EMS, etc.) as well if interested.
