Did you have extra sets made or what?

This is what I meant by sell my set to someone else. Give my set to mad doc and refund my money. Let me know.

superslow 09-04-2009 01:51 AM

Keep adding people and then drop the price! :p

two other people backed out, if you remember the list was at 18 people... but they backed out on the last day of the group buy, so i let them out... you wanted to back out yesterday, which is way too late... i'm already eating two sets as it is... in fact, after i send everyone elses sets, the remaining sets will either go on ebay, and or in the for sale section here... also mad doc hasn't sent payment yet... if you wanna work out a deal with him, by all means go for it... like i said, i'm already loosing on this group buy... but i'm not bitching, and i'm keeping my word and delivering as promised....

seriously though crxican, if this was a mod you wanted to do, these lines are awesome, and you will not be dissapointed....

I've been noticing that paypal won't allow copy/paste email addresses. It tells me the email format is wrong.

If you type it in, it seems to work.

scottv 09-05-2009 03:49 AM

Sent you a PM, but I would like to get in on this buy if any spots are open. Thanks

mad doc 09-06-2009 06:39 PM

Really hoping you can come thru on the clutch line :)

ripracer 09-06-2009 07:20 PM

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm just about finished with my auto to manual swap, just need to get the car to start, stupid wiring.

I purchased the Isis auto to man line that I listed in one of the links above from enjuku racing and it fits the car perfectly. I got a really good deal b/c they are local and had it on hand in the store. It isn't nylon coated but I could beat $30 bucks for a line that runs all the way from the mc to the slave.

Summary: thread pitches are the same between the 240 and Miata slave and MC so if you want a braided line to run between them order the Isis or Auto Power from EnjukuRacing.com.

ripracer 09-06-2009 07:23 PM

Also just wanted to state I'm not trying to take anything away from what James has going here, he is trying to bring you guys a good product for a good deal, just though I would let people in on the clutch line seeing it was like a $60 dollar option through this.

superslow 09-06-2009 08:52 PM

Hm. I would pay the extra bit of cash to have the coating. Raw stainless for that length in that location is a scary thought.

Although you mean well, it is still not a very appropriate place to post this.

ripracer 09-06-2009 11:09 PM

They have a coated line as well for 5 bucks more.

james399 09-07-2009 06:01 PM

ripracer: appreciate the ^^^, also no worries we are all car people and drive the same particular little cars, more options is always better!!... lol... as for hardline delete... i.e. the line running directly from the master to slave is an interesting option, and you're totally right, i can't touch that 30 dollar price.... the curly q delete line that runs from the fire wall to the slave is 35 through this group buy... that is also the reason why i recomended doing this locally, as it is difficult to get the exact measurement you were talking about... the way i measured it, the line would have been like 8 feet long... lol... how long was the line that you ended up getting?

again be careful, make sure it is securly fastened down, having line that long will flex the actual line causing some loss in hydraulic pressure... think of sand rails that have stainless lines that run the entire length of the car... they loose a lot of pressure, and sure the line you are running isn't as long, but i woud be carefull...

+1 on the coating, or get some proper wire wrap or something...

superslow, appreciate the support...

2. a stock miata also tracked regularly...

cool, let me know how the installation goes, and if you have any questions feel free to post, so we can share the info...

just so everyone knows, the fittings for the clutch lines are different from the brake lines... so don't be switching that shit around... lol...

superslow 09-12-2009 04:43 PM

Just received mine as well. May not have time today to install, but the kit is quality. Complete coated swiveling lines, dist. block and banjo bolts/washers. I'll post up after the install. Thanks!

ScottFW 09-13-2009 01:33 PM

My clutch line arrived yesterday. It will be a while before I get a chance to install it, but it looks like a good piece.

CRXican 09-13-2009 02:18 PM

Clutch line will be the only part I might install myself. Gonna have the brake lines done for me, I'm not good with that shiz.

superslow 09-13-2009 02:42 PM

clutch line is more PITA to do than brake IMHO.

I've got to re-assemble my car at the bodyshop before I can install them though.

Yeah, I didn't want that swinging around freely underneath there.

nope-mx5 09-15-2009 03:15 PM

Am I correct that it`s $35 for the clutch line (that also removes the Q)?

How much would shipping to Norway be?
(Shouldnt be too much via usps).

Cash is ready for paypaling :)

sorry mate, the group buy here is done, i'm doing the same group buy over at club roadster, but the price went up by 10 bucks to 150 for the 5 lines set... the manufacturer is jacking the price on me...

i though about that... but i didn't want one of the lines to poke through the box, and then cause one of the parts to be lost.... it was worth it for the piece of mind to get everything to you safer than sorry... lol... i had to get a special envelope just for you, lol...

Seems your thread is gone on cr.
Depending on the price for just the clutch line, I`m in asap on the cr.net gb, if it comes back..

I immediately regret my decision to do the clutch line myself. That upper bracket is fucking hiding. No idea how I'm going to get it off.

I might do what this guy did and leave it there.

::edit::

finally finished and cleaned up, except for my dirty fingernails

driving impression= clutch feels the same, not impressed

disturbedfan121 09-16-2009 09:03 PM

did you think it was gonna be amazing? lol there are 2 soft lines, you might* feel a difference with both, i'll let you know, but it makes things easier to take on and off, and looks prettier lol
