Default EMS-4 ECU Kit, LC-1, Thinkpad Laptop (high res)

PICTURES!!!!

Can't edit my old thread anymore so here is a new one!

Hey guys, some stuff for sale! All prices are USD, shipped in the conUS. I will also accept Bitcoin, based at the exchange rate at time of sale (PM me for my paypal/bitcoin addy). Pics at the end.

1) AEM EMS-4 kit. The kit would include:

(1) AEM EMS-4 Rev:C Mods:C
(1) Wiring harness for PnP (currently wired for 94-95 miata)
(1) 2-bar MAP sensor
(1) IAT sensor
Connectors for sensors

I can send you a calibration I have, but I haven't had a chance to put any time into getting it to run well at all. Basically it needs to be tuned from the ground up. It's the whole reason I am selling - no time (and student loans...). $825 for the whole thing.

I will sell the ECU for $775 and the harness for $50 if I have buyers for both.

2) Innovate LC-1. Sensor has a couple thousand miles on it. $95.

3) Lenovo ThinkPad T61p Laptop w/ Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0, 1680x1050 screen! 2gb of ram, discreet graphics. GREAT for tuning thanks to the resolution. Very very nice condition. Battery lasts a couple hours. $140

Does the LC-1 include a gauge, or is it just the sensor?

Just sensor, control box, and a button. No gauge.

The difference is that there is a veritable army of tuners out there who are familiar and comfortable working around the AEM. Its well known and well supported whereas the megasquirt in some circles is still looked at as an oddity. There are some tuners who won't touch them and wrote them off years ago, probably due to the legions of crappy DIY builds out there, especially in the foxbody community.

Its a solid and capable unit, I seriously considered buying one for quite a while but could find a deal like OPs. Bump for good hardware regardless.

Yes I realize everyone wants a cheap ecu, I myself used megasquirt for a long time. But honestly, just the datalogging features this ecu has is worth it in it's self over megasquirt (in addition to things like much better build quality, aux output handling, etc). Plus as said AEM stuff is used by a lot of people.

I mean I'll take $825 for the whole kit, which as a reminder does include a good harness with a map/ait sensor and connectors. That's getting pretty close to a full ms3 setup for a better ecu...
