Default F/S Direct Port Nitrous

This is hard. Really hard. I have, for sale, my Edelbrock Performer Series direct port nitrous system. Complete with over 100 dollars worth of lines, fittings, fuel pressure gauge, and adapters not included with the kit when purchased, but were necessary for its installation. This is Edelbrock's high end direct port system. It is currently jetted for a 100 shot, but will include 40 jets total to change to a 50, 75, 100, 150, and 200 shot. This is the performer series which means Stainless Steel everything. SS jets, SS lines, SS foggers (Upgraded to E2 foggers for better atomization), larger solenoids for better flow, etc. This was the best of the best when I bought it less than two years ago for 500 bucks. I then added over 100 dollars worth of fittings, lines, etc to make it work on my miata. All the hard lines are already made so all you would have to do to install this is drill and tap 4 holes in your intake manifold 1/16 NPT and screw in the foggers. I will also include a micro switch with a custom bracket that will bolt up below the gas pedal so the nitrous only comes on when you floor it. This is as close as you'll ever get to plug and play direct port for a miata.

I have 600 plus shipping plus many many hours of time in the above parts. All were purchased new and are in like new condition. I'll sell all that for $400 shipped.

I also have a Cold Fusion Progressive Controller. I paid 220 for it new plus shipping. I'll sell it for 120 shipped. Nice to have when I sprayed a 100 shot so I could ramp the shot in first gear to plant the rear end and keep from spinning. Shot digitally adjustable in 1% increments. You can specify the starting percent withing 1% and specify the ramp time to full shot. So say comes on at a 50 shot and ramps to a 100 shot in .4 seconds. That way the rear plants well and you don't get wheel spin. It will also do "continue the countdown" So say you are running a big shot, you can start at say 50 shot and ramp to a 150 in 5 seconds. You start in first gear and spray from a 50 shot to... 93 shot, then when you grab second and floor it, the controller automatically picks up where it left off and continues the countdown to your specified maximum shot.

I also have a MSD Dual Stage Window switch. (allows you to specify when it comes on AND off, not just on only) I paid 120 shipped for it new. I'll sell it for 70 shipped. With this one you can specify say 3900 RPM on and 7000 off. Could also be used to trigger VICS solenoid. Digitally adjustable in 100RPM increments.

Or, if you buy the direct port, I'll let the controller go for 100 and the window switch for 60.

Add a bottle and feed line to the above and you are spraying.

This would be great for anyone looking for cheap power now, spooling a large turbo, or icing on the cake on their built turbocharged beast.

All prices are FIRM. Don't even ASK.

Will post pics shortly.

First pics are when I first installed the nitrous. Later pics are pics I just took with it off the car. I have many more pics, but I never uploaded them to photobucket. If someone is serious about buying it and wants more pics I have more.

I know only the basics about nitrous, so excuse me if this is dumb, but is there any way this can be integrated to work with MS?

Yes, it could be integrated with MS in more ways than 1. You can let MS turn the nitrous on and off instead of the window switch. Or, you could set this up as direct port DRY shot (simply don't hook fuel up), and let MS add the correct amount of fuel through your injectors (assuming your injectors are big enough to handle it). However, MS can't control the nitrous progressively. That's why I bought the electronics I have. I wanted the control. A straight 100 shot with no ramp time pretty much can't be used in first, and it's a little wild in second.

Still available. Also, I would be interested in trading or trade plus cash for a good t3/t4 turbo, manifold, wastegate, BOV, silicone couplers and bends, etc. Let me know what you have and we can work something out.

I'd take you up on this if my car did not need 10000000000000 more important things right now. Looks like a great deal.

Yeah I know what you mean. It is a great deal as I have a lot of time and money tied up in it and it's in mint condition. Sending you a PM.

Wow good deal, I wish you had this for sale when I still had money!

Out of curiosity, is there a reason for the foam/rubber on the hard lines?

Too bad I don't have a 4 cylinder anymore. Otherwise, I would probably buy it from you.

The rubber you see is vacuum tubing. I split it and slid it over the tubes for stealth. The tubes are SS and very shiny. I put black rubber on them and it helped to hide that I had nitrous. I showed my motor to many a people and told them it was stock, and then never saw the nitrous.

Stealth, yeah it's cheap. I hate to let it go.

Mike, add 4 more foggers and you could use it.

Can you set MS up to control the nitrous (on/off @ RAW TP/RPM), while the Progressive Controller controls the shot size?

Yes. That would be letting MS act as the WOT swtich and RPM switch. Would work fine, but you would have to have the fuel added in with the nitrous foggers as MS can not add fuel for nitrous progressively. It can only turn XX size on/off and add the appropriate amount of fuel. MS can do staged nitrous though. But, seeing how MS is open source, if you were a genius you could write your own code and somehow make MS do it. It's possible, but currently not supported.

Oh ok. Thanks. That would be a pretty nice setup I think.

I'm a coder, but not that language =D.

Let's see, I've probably responded to a combined total of 20 PM's, emails, post, etc of "interested" parties. But no buyer.

350 shipped.

I was really intersted until I found out a 10lb bottle would cost me 200 + a line to get it up front. Then found out I would probably need a heater if temperature drops too much below 85.

Then I found out I would have to drive 45 minutes and pay 60 dollars to get it filled every few weeks.

So thats about 700 dollars to start, and 60 dollars plus gas and time to drive and refill bottle as needed.

In case you were wondering why one of those interested parties decided not to become a buyer.
