Default F/S RX7 4 Piston Calipers 70 Shipped

I have a pair of RX7 4 piston calipers for sale. They are used and in good condition. I bought theses to put on my miata but I never did. To install these you will need bigger rotors and custom brackets to mount them. You will also need at least 15" wheels or bigger. There's no way they will fit on my factory 14's so I'm selling them.

I'm also open to trade if you have anything I'll need to go turbo. Things like a BOV, wastegate, silicone couplers and bends, etc. Just let me know what you got. Course PayPal works too. 70 shipped to US buyers. I sold a pair of these on eBay this spring and it was 24 bucks to ship them, so there's not a lot of wiggle room in the price. If they don't sell here they go to eBay.

how much do they weigh, would I gain any significant difference in stopping distance? From a increased unsprung weight vs stopping distance view are they really worth it over better pads like carbonetics?

Sell me on them and I might send you $60.

Depends. They are cast aluminum, but they are big so they are not light. I'm sure they weigh more than stock calipers. So you will likely add unsprung weight. From my research, these are for someone who tracks their car. A stock miata with upgraded pads will stop in a hurry. But put it on a track and your brakes will fade, calipers overheat, etc. To do it right, you have to get bigger rotors, bigger pads, and bigger calipers. Then you've done something. Supposedly VW corado rotors are cheap, bolt up, and are bigger. It's just a matter of making these fit around the larger rotors and clearing your wheels.

If you got anything I need to turbo we could work out a trade too.
