I have a question. The hood extracts, meaning it helps suck the air through the radiator and the IC, right?

So, why is your intake right in that hot airstream? Wouldn't it be better to turn that elbow around 180* to get the cooler air coming in from the TSI's?

Currently my intake is a little different, but not much better. I plan on routing the intake differently once all the new parts arrive. I just got a K&N filter, a box of aluminum piping, couplers, clamps, etc. I've been taking notes on everyones setup to try and make something of my own. IC and intake wise, hopefully sometime this month.

Ill pay the 400- if shipping isnt horrendous-
I just did an estimate shipping to 98226 through UPS and it seemed a bit high @ $160. USPS said the dimensions were invalid. I would have a better idea of the shipping once my new hood arrives and i can go off that. I would think around $100-$120 seems about right.

That makes more sense. I just thought it looked a little odd, and wondered if I was missing something.

Yea, I'm gonna shop around a bit for quotes tomorrow.

What ever the buyer wants. They can come with or I'll remove the plates.

The CF gilled Autokonexion hood.

Non taken....it was a joke. I was trying not to advertise for another hood when trying to sell mine. *sigh

The guy that bid $400 on ebay asked me to stop the auction now for $500 including shipping, basically his bid. I told him come on man, not even 24hours and the minimum I'd except? If he wins it at the end, whatever $400 is fine. But I know damn well it'll go up. Ebay is the ****!

I'm sure if I post over at m.net, they will see a ebay link and it'll be closed in a couple hours if not minutes. It would be nice to get the extra views from it though.

Hood has 10 hours left on Ebay! I'm right at the reserve price of $400. If anyone else is interested this is the last chance.

This is also my last post about it.

I'm gonna try posting about it on m.net. Should make it at least 5 minutes I hope!!
