Is this for a 1.6?

 

Don't think it matters... just the installation of what wires you tap into change.

 

The current design (in the silver metal box, released earlier this year) is universal for all years.

The previous design (in the black plastic box) came in two separate versions for the '90-'93 and '94+ cars, as the firmware was different for the batch vs. sequential injection modes.

So yeah, it probably matters.

 

Sounds like it only matters if it was the old style. So I guess what matters is what model it is So OP, is this the black plastic one, or the new metal box design?
