My friend has a contact that has has a Makino mill (not a CNC but electronic controls) in the Seattle area that is going to be dumped soon. It is operational but works on 480v three phase power. It was made in the 60s. We were gonna transport it here but found out it would cost $5-10k to ship here. The thing is huge and requires special equipment to transport safely. It does have some kind of probe to make copies of parts as well. The thing is worth at least $5-10k, so if you're local it might be worth your while. The hassle and cost of transporting it makes it not worth it for anyone out of the area. PM me if you know of anyone that can put this beast to use.

 

with the price of scrap metal these days, you could probably get something out of it at a scrap yard.
