Default DIY Bilstein Setup -650$-

My name is Bronson, and I'm addicted to Bilsteins. As luck would have it I've stumbled into a set of AFCO's so my stash of Bilsteins has to go. They have served me well winning a regional SCCA championship last year and breaking hearts on several track excursions. I don't need to tell you goobers why they are a decent setup for the money.

I machine the ebay sleeves to capture the circlip which eliminates the failures we've seen in the DIY thread. I also machine the shocks bodies to lower the circlips to allow any ride height from slammed to 4x4 and allow the use of 7" or 8" springs in the front. I personally like the damping curves of the Hard S shocks over the HD's that are used in the spec miata setups.
I'm building two sets of these for friends and I have a 3rd set I was planning on selling here. I'm going to offer these with quite a few options.

As pictured:
100K Mile Hard S bilsteins that have been machined for a second circlip, stripped and repainted. This particular set has had the front bushings replaced with new. Rears in good shape.
800F / 450R springs (used, some scuffing from tire rub) These rates work great with stock bars.
Used OEM bump stops in great shape (full height ready to be trimmed to fit your wheel/tire combo)
Used OEM NB top hats with associated hardware in good shape
Machined ebay sleeves
----------Price: 650$----------- (Plus shipping)
Add new springs at any rate you desire: 75$ per pair
Add 1 pair of extended top hats (I suggest this for the rear to get a decently sized bump stop and maximum travel) 75$

I can also build you this same setup with ALL NEW shocks (HD's), springs, bump stops and top hat bushings.
------1100$-----

If there is no interest in the set I have built they'll go to my racing buddies and I'll sell a set of 100k mile untouched hard S bilsteins for 225$ shipped. (pictured, no top hats or springs)

Edit: Wanted to add that I may be interested in partial trades for engine O/H parts such as bearings / gaskets / rings / boundary pump ect. Already have pistons and rods.
