I measured the input shaft play back when I installed all the seals, and it was within spec. Shifts smoothly in all gears. It is currently installed on my built motor, but I just purchased a Quaifed transmission so I am in no need of this any longer ever. I never drove with this transmission, I bought it a couple years ago and haven't finished my projects so I haven't had any play time.
