The sender is bad. The gauge works fine. The gauge was pulled out of my evo after I saw it was boosting 2 psi at idle. It came with the car and is 3 years out of warranty. Hooked everything up on the garage floor to a 12V LiPo and it was boosting 12 psi in atmosphere pressure. Disconnected the sender, hooked up a voltage regulator, and the display matched the transfer equation in the pdf (30-4406). New AEM 50 psia brass senders are available from various places which will have a warranty.
