Hey Ian, what are the seats in your car now?

 

I decided to go with a single black Elise drivers seat for now. I'm tall and the Elise seat has a higher headrest.

You would have to cut a slot in these for a 5 point harness right? Or is there one there that is just hidden between the cushions?

 

Oh, yeah, good point. There is a slot cut (cleanly) under the cushions. The belt comes up behind the front cushion.

 

Do you have any pics of this cleanly cut slot? The more info and pics you have posted the easier they will be to sell. I really like these seats and am considering making an offer. Price now is still high for me but hey you never know you might find the right buyer so good luck with sale.

EDIT: How tall are you btw? I know you mentioned that you switched to a standard lotus seat with the higher headrest because of your height.

 

Ask and ye shall receive. There is a little bit of epoxy that seems to have gotten on the bottom of the cushion through the hole, but it is dry and completely hidden. Not sure why they made that "flap" of suede through the hole...
