what's the difference between the S4 and S5 AFM's?

 

Their two different kind, like the S4 is 86-88
and the S5 is 89-91
I dont think the S5 AFM will work for the M1 Miatas.....

 

I only included it because I have it and it could theoretically work. The plugs are different but the actually wiring only requires jumping two wires to get the s5 to work the same as the s4. If it works on S4 rx7's I don't see why it couldn't work for miata's. Just something I thought a miata owner might want to try. Instead of a rotating flap it has a sliding cone

 

That's what I seem to remember, but I'm not positive.

 

Did you mean you have an intake for an RX7? My brother has an 88 N/A, he might want it.

 

I don't have any aftermarket intake but I do have the stock airbox with a k&n panel filter if that's what you meant. I also have an extra S5 intake with the VDI if you want that.
