Like the title says.

BRPerformance plug-n-play box. How does it work? Well, you plug your 99-00 (i think 01+ works too) harness into the box. The box has a harness that plugs into your ECU. On the side of the box are various signal inputs/outputs for you to tap into (a/f,O2,tach,grnd,12v power etc...).

These were nearly $300 new and are no longer available. It's quite the nifty device if you're planning on running something like a Powercard of VooDoo box.

Well, Ben and I confirmed that technically this will plug into all Miatas from 90-00... if you want to play with the pin-outs on the harness side. I'm sure someone can get creative with this..

 

Mike I was thinking about that last night. I wasn't thinking clearly yesterday (it's friggin hot here!). I'd bet that box *will* work for the older cars, as is. The pins shouldn't have to be moved, if they're agree on both ends.

 

Well, maybe i can get a hold of someone tomorrow with a stock NA and find out.

I just had a friend swing by with his 1.6 and we plugged this in and his car started right up. So this WILL work with 90-00 cars. I suspect that the sensors listed on the side will work the same too because in the one pic you can see the yellow jumper wire for the CAS..... if the pin locations were different, than the car wouldnt have gotten CAS signal. I did pull it out the car car didn't start (meaning that it was using the signal).


Can i get a mod to change the title of this to read 90-00 cars? And to adjust the price in my posts to $200obo
