Default FS: GAZ coilovers/FM f/r sway bars

FS: Complete GAZ coilover set, incl. tophats and cut bump stops. $125 not including shipping. I'll throw in a spanner. I don't know much about them, including spring rates, but posts by P.O. indicate it's a 350/250-ish setup. They are adjustable, and have threaded bodies for height adjustment. These will get you low, if that's what you want.

Front and rear Flyin Miata sway bars, $100 for the set, not including shipping. These came off my '90. I'll measure them for dia if you want. No pics, let me know if you need some.

Shoot me a PM.

The coil-overs would be awesome for our lemons car. We could afford them in the budget, but would get flamed so hard and get hammered with BS laps.

I got a couple PMs about parting out the front sway. I'd like to hold out for a couple of days to see if someone out there wants the set. If I sell the front separately, the rear will have to go in the trash, because no one would want it.

Flamed because they are so cheap?

I am working with an early PM'er on the GAZ. If they get sold to him I will post them as sold, if not I will PM the next in line. Thanks for all the interest.

BTW, front and rear sways worked pretty well on our other car, an N/A.

They look a bit different to the GAZ set we use in the UK and Holland for the MaX5 cup (Spec Miata equiv). But it should not be junk if a cup is running on them.

Spookyfucker,

I am aware of their reputation overseas. In fairness, it's a little mixed, but GAZ does provide kits for spec series.

That being said, however, we all know that the best genetics from Europe shipped out to the States centuries ago, so....

Um, just kidding, dude. Ich been kut heeft, or some ****.

I meant flamed from a viewpoint of having a miata in a $500 car race is cheating enough, but one with coil over suspension will be crushed immediately. I wasn't doubting the quality of these, but the warm welcome I would get if is showed up with anything other than 200,000 old shocks and OEM springs.

I believe that, that migration made Europe smarter... and the States too.

Everyone, the coilovers are in a box on the way to their new owner, and the sway bars look to be sold. I will update the thread as sold once the sways ship. Thanks a ton for all the interest. Goes to prove that there is a major market for inexpensive coilovers!

Spookyfucker, if you're out there, I knew a crew of transfer students from Eindhoven Tech that were here in the states in around 1995-1997. Know anyone who went to school there? One guy was in informatics, works for Shell now, the rest were ag guys. It's a longshot, but you never know...
