Sorry to crap on your thread...but i've seen a couple greddy turbos in person and none of them looked QUITE like that one...(the actual turbo) does anyone know if there were there slight variatons ovr the years, or ws the turbo maybe blown and replaced in this "kit" by the PO?

No i owned one, maybe it's just the wastegate not being attached thta's making it looked weird, I'm not sure what it is but there's just something that's not right, probably just me being tired and it being a year since i've seen a greddy in person... so nevermind disregard my post(s) in this thread.

My kids are pretty good, but with my oldest (who's only 4 at the moment), I can see the battles raging in the future based on how hard headed she is now. If I know that she doesn't pay attention when driving, or drives like a woman (ok, the typical "I need a 65,000 lb SUV and talk on my cellphone while weaving in and out of lanes" woman I see driving on the road every day), or isn't mature enough, there's no way she's going to be driving a fast car when she's old enough, even if she buys it herself.
Of course, I'd hope to find a better way of making everybody happy than "take it off or I'll sell your car"...
Especially if it was a car I owned...
And on the sale, it looks like the downpipe has a blockoff plate on the end that bolts to the turbo, that looks like it blocks off what used to be an internal wastegate? I don't see a wastegate on it, but I see a wastegate actuator, that's why I ask.
