I started this on my local NCR forum so a number of kits have already sold and I have about 15 kits left.

General info for people with SM plates

If you want to fill every bolt hole in your hardtop and on the car frame side with security bolts, you would need 12 of the M6 bolts (in the hardtop) and 8 of the M8 bolts (in the car frame). That would take 2 of my kits.

If you just want to lock down a set of plates (either the front or sides) you will need half as many bolts. That would take 1 of my kits.

The Spec Miata plates come in two different styles. Some have 5 bolt holes (3 for the M6 in HT and 2 for M8 in frame) and Some have 4 bolt holes (2 for the M6 in HT and 2 for M8 in frame). If you have the 4 bolt version of the plates you will end up with 2 extra M6 bolts per plate set / per bolt kit.

1 bolt kit = $31.75 (shipped)

I sold out of my first batch of bolt sets over a month ago but as soon as they were gone I had a bunch of people asking for more so I put in another order and they arrived yesterday. I be sending a lot out next week to the people who have been waiting but I have exras to sell as well.

FYI - I've had enough people asking if they could get a kit after I sold out of my first batch that I made a second order and I've got kits back in stock.

 

Let me know if anyone wants to buy bolt kits without the install tools (if you already have the tools). I haven't received all my tools for the kits yet so I can sell both ways (with or without tools). Let me know if you are interested and I'll work up a special price.

I have 6 sets ready to go with tools and at least that many that I could sell without tools.
