Full Partout - Built 1.8L, Absurdflow manifold, Tial V-Band 2860, MS2, 6 Speed + more
26 Attachment(s)
I'm finally parting out my unfinished build. Need the cash more than cool parts sitting on the shelf. I haven't been around in a long time, I based prices off what I paid for stuff used if I could remember. If any thing is out of line make an offer. If someone wants to show up at my house with a handful of cash, wanting a lot of parts, I'll seriously deal. Big items are noted as pickup only. All other prices are shipped to the lower 48. Prefer cash in person, Paypal for shipped items. The pictures of the engine are from my build thread. I'll take new ones of that and the 6 speed tonight when I get home. The engine has been stored inside, wrapped in plastic since built. 0 miles.
Here's my old build thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/build-thr...k-build-63007/ Here's what I've got for sale: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1402435042 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1402435042 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1402435042 Rear finish panel. Crack on the top inside, not visible when installed. All mounts in good shape, nothing broken off. $125 Local pickup only - If I ship it, I will guarantee it to arrive broken. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1402435042 Tow hooks for NA $75 Shipped https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 I'll try to get better pics, but there it is....it's a 6 speed. To anyone who's wondering, I got it with a bad motor. Motor had a botched timing belt install which led to a destroyed crank nose. I assumed the transmission to be good, because the car had to be running for them to screw up the crank as bad as they did. You can see in my build thread where I talk about it. I used the block and head from the that motor, and a different crank to build the one above. 6-speed, no shifter. Picture to come tonight when I get home and drag it out. Never used it in a car, bought it used, never used it. $500 prefer local, may consider shipping https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401926401 Stainless steel clutch line from Trackspeed - New $35 shipped All SOLD stuff below...just leaving it in case anyone wants the pictures. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401992635 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401926401 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1401926401 2000 1.8 +1mm 8.6:1 Supertech Pistons Carrillo H-Beam Rods (used, checked by machine shop and within spec) ACL Race bearings ARP Head and Main Studs Boundary Engineering Billet Oil Pump New waterpump -10an bung for oil return x2 -10an breather bungs on valve cover valve cover powdercoated blue Head rebuilt to stock specs All OEM gaskets and seals used All machine and assembly work was done by Eddings Engine. I can pick up that Begi re-route parts. Let me know 323-627-4788.

It would cost $100 to ship the transmission via greyhound bus, around the same for the engine. Why are you limiting yourself to local pickup only?
Keith |
Interested in reroute parts. Paypal ready.

I would take reroute stuff, clutch line, and intercooler kit. Let me know if anyone backs out.
Too bad my FM happy meal comes in on Friday, otherwise I'd try to snag that too.. |

You have to crate them, and take them to the greyhound depot too. Easier said than done in my case. Are you seriously interested? Let me know, Keith |
Sorry, can't do that. I really don't have the ability to crate it and get it anywhere. It would cost me money to crate it, and get it there somehow...

For the 6 speed I would pay $600 shipped to 47874. Since it doesn't have a shifter, I would need to know the year of the transmission... the shifters are different for the NB1 and NB2 6 speeds.
Let me know, Keith |
Where in LA are you? I'm thinking about your engine, is it missing anything in order for it to drop into an NA8?

What else do you need? |
so just a Crank pulley and timing belt covers?
I'm guessing the stock NA8 crank pulley I've got can be reused? Sorry for the seemingly noob questions, but I'm no expert on engines. I just know that the current one I've got has seen way too much neglect (missed oil changes leading to stuck rings and one helluva oil burn rate) and is on it's way out. I'm in the SFV as well and would probably have a shop install this thing. |
I would search around here to be sure, some/most of your stuff will swap over. I would get a new crank pulley/dampener, but if yours is in good shape I think it should work. I think there is a difference in number of ribs for the belt on the pulley between years, but not sure if that was between 1.6/1.8...

This manifold won't work with A/C or P/S unless you are super duper creative.
This manifold started life with a standard T2 flange, then was shipped back to me to be converted to vband/ewg with bracing and ceramic coated, and a GT2860RS. It's a mild steel manifold, 1.5" sch. 40. It's manifold #13 for you superstitious people :) Sept 2010 vintage. The turbine housing inconel bolts were cross drilled for safety wire. More pics of the previous part out: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...partout-60654/ |
Post updated. Turbo parts sold. Engine pending.

Sort of a relief! I wouldn't have backed out on you, but after doing some research I wouldn't want to purchase a 6 speed without the shifter. A good aftermarket replacement would have run me $300, I see why yours is priced so low now :) It is a great choice for anyone already planing to go with an aftermarket shifter.

More pics of the previous part out: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...partout-60654/ I'm really bummed I didn't get to use it. I still haven't given up hope of building a nice track Miata one day. I've got my shell with the gold engine bay tucked away in a container in the high desert...I'll either build it, or wait for the Miata boom in 30 years....lol I've got my hands full these days though. If anyone cares, here's the reason I'm finally parting out...I've got two cars in the garage that need my attention right now: We Imported A Toyota Soarer And A Toyota Crown From Japan |
If it helps on the sale of the trans, I just found my stock MSM shifter in my mess of parts I got with the MSM. So if someone wants it to go in the trans it's available.
Not trying to steal your thunder, just helping out :) will be making my own FS thread within the next couple days. |

Artech can weld the heater core pipe port on the mixing manifold so you use that, flipped forward. That seems to be the cheapest solution. BEGI sells a solution as well.
