Posting for a very classy noob with too few posts to do it himself who came to me before spamming up the forum. See next post.

Caveat emptor for dealing with new members of course.

Alrighty - Thanks!!

SO... (big breath) parting out the last 15 years or so of my miata life is hard. Lets start with the big/fun stuff. It is a dedicated track car, NASA ST1/2.

Jerico 4 Speed TRANSMISSION 1.852/1.438/1.178/1

This is a turn-key setup for a higher power car. Only the case is used and its perfect. ALL of the guts are new with less than 2 hours on them. Full Dog Ring setup with straight cut gears. Not a grocery getter.
Custom ALUMINUM custom Bell Housing, custom steel drive shaft, modified PPF, custom cross-brace, Hightower direct (nearly centered) shifter. Quartermaster annular throwout bearing. $7k Invested. $5000

You're going to want a nice diff now that you can make power without breaking transmissions any more.

OS GIKEN with a 3.636, Fresh/New Everything (Bolt up and go)
$ on this is negotiable depending on if you want the above as a combo.

The rest of it will go too but listing it all is a project itself. PM me and I will do my best to answer questions.

straight-cut gears and a dog box is a pretty significant compromise for anything vaguely street able.

Not streetable at all IMO. 1st will get you going, but not without clutch effort. I cared special attention to getting the distance between the gears suited for a road course, and with only 4 gears topping out at 1:1 there are compromises to be made. "Not a grocery getter" is a significant point... This is a track setup. I can send/post my gearing calculations. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are fantastic for all but the longest tracks and even then its good enough. Gear noise is significant (and awesome). Flat shift capable and I had it wired to my ECU with a button on the shift ****.

Located in St. Louis, MO. Willing to meet/drive/pack&ship.

Diff setup alone is a $3500 investment. Bead blasted carrier, new bearings, the works. Its got the same 4 sessions on it the trans does, so its new, and ready to rock. The Giken is an unbelievable difference from a stock torsen (I was surprised at the difference in cornering speeds). I am thinking $3k for the rear alone and can do better for combo deals with other parts.

Jesse Prather did all of the work on these pieces so the craftsmanship is nationally top notch.

Any interest in a semi-trade for the diff?

4.1 LSD + 3.63 ring and pinion + cash?

Is the transmission package still available? If so what would it cost to install lower ratio gears?

For the transmission, I do not need the PPF, cross-brace, nor the driveshaft. Are you willing to sell it without those and how much are you looking to get if you are?

I am going to resurrect this thread 6 years later and I promise to pay attention AND follow through this time. This setup is for sale again. Not just the Jerico, but my entire setup. It will take me days to deal with the details of the listing, but feel like its worth the time to get some of this gear into the hands of folks that I know can use it.
The cage/tub is on racingjunk soon. The Jerico pictured in this thread is a fine place to start for classifieds here. Turbo and other bits on the way.
Jerico 4 Speed Transmission (2.833, 1.841, 1.333, 1 installed. 1.852/1.438/1.178/1 comes with it as loose gears not installed)
Miata bellhousing, Hightower shifter, Driveshaft. THis box has been gone through a couple times and all handled by Prather Motorsports. Current gears have 2hrs on them. Other trans bits about 6 hours.
To complete the setup, a Quartermaster annular throw out bearing (the Jerico doesn't use the miata fork and slave but this works with the stock master cyl or something in the range of 5/8. Includes stainless lines. PowerTrain 7.25" dual disc racing clutch with lightweight steel flywheel (JPM) setup (700lb rated).
3.307 R&P rear gear set. This gear will probably be loose as I will keep my OS GIKEN diff for a street car.
This is track only unless you hate yourself.

We all drive Miatas thus clearly we hate ourselves, so should have no problem selling
