Garrett GT 2560R, Tial 38 mm wastegate, COPS etc
Locost is looking for an upgrade and current setup is available for sale.
These have been used for few thousand race miles and are in good shape, unlike the stock engine. Garrett GT 2560 R Ball bearing turbo, internal wastegate welded shut and holes for bolts holding it to manifold enlargened to accept 10mm bolt. Great spooling turbo, dynoed 265 hp on the wheels at DIY dyno from stock motor at 14 psi at the intake. Tial 38 mm wastegate works as it should. Sold as a package for $675, shipped in lower 48 states. Toyota Coil on Plugs with pigtails, used to dyno numbers above. Sold! 1996 head with exhaust cam in intake side, no cam sprockets, again, used to dyno the number above $200 + actual shipping. Stock 2001 coils with pigtails, $50 shipped Stock 2001 exhaust manifold $50 shipped 4.1 torsen $550. I'd rather not ship this one because of the weight. 1999 intake with VICS, $100 shipped, look for other 1999 parts like head later here once plans solidify a bit. hrk |

The compressor has GARRET A/R 60 M24 1-1 on the casting.
The bearing housing has HJ 01 06J 14411-69F00 466541-1 Turbine housing has Garret 2 turbine inled flange is 72 mm x 45 mm with holes for 10 mm studs. T25. |

The 38 mm Tial wastegate was used instead of Garretts own.

No injectors available at the moment.

Based on pics and the part numbers you gave:
HJ 01 06J 14411-69F00 466541-1 That is NOT a 2560R. It's a standard S14 turbo, it's still a 2560, but not an "R". It is not dual ball bearing (front and rear bearings). It's only a single ended ball bearing (rear I believe). The 2560R also has a divider wall between the wastegate port and exhaust wheel. There are other differences as well. Just an FYI to buyers. |
Thank you for clearing that out. I have had it since 2007 and was under impression that it would be the 2560R, but I will correct the designation.

Turbo P/N 466541-1 brings Garret GT 2560R at: http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...t/turbocharger This is good for airflow for 200-330 hp for motor displacements of 1.6 - 2.5 liters --- Anyway, the turbo boosts 5 psi at 1700 rpm according to MS3X logs and has very little lag anywhere in the power range. I was looking for bigger one since this ~1500 lbs car is track only and could use more flow. hrk |

I believe you mean the 99 head and not the -96 head on the current motor.
I may need few weeks to verify that the planned VVT motor has no surprices and if it doesn't I will sell the 99 head with fresh photos. If OBX means Owner Built Xtreme, the yes :) . The manifold is welded from weld-els and stock miata flange. Has worked ok and flows enough to produce the numbers stated above. hrk |

The -99 manifold is complete with throttle body and VICS actuator. It has one loose bolt which should be holding manifold halves together.

Photos for used 38 mm tial with 12 psi spring. Works perfect, has one hole threaded hole drilled on the outlet side I used bolt and nut to secure it to exhaust.
