Default Garrett GT2554R and GT2560R

Both turbos sold.

Hey guys, I have two turbos for sale. If you are running a churbo or SR20 T25, pay attention. Story on each is below:

2554r - This was a left over from when I had my Protege5. This was removed from a Mazdaspeed Protege under warranty due to a sticky wastegate door, and I came to own it to replace what I thought was a bad turbo on my Protege5. Long story short, my other turbo was good, so this went on my shelf. I replaced the exhaust housing with one off of a GT2560R that I bought to use on my NA. This turbo is in great shape - it is very clean and would be perfect for a miata. It needs a wastegate actuator and bracket to fit our cars. The compressor housing is off - it will need to be drilled to fit a new actuator bracket if you are going to use it on a miata. The part number plate is missing from the CHRA. I included a pic of the compressor wheel size for proof since I don't have a part number for you to look up. Price is $350 firm.

2560r - This turbo was meant for my 90. I planned to use the 2554r's exhaust housing since I am pretty sure it wouldn't stick when modified to fit a miata. This turbo came off of a later Nissan Silvia and is not as clean as the 54, but it has no shaft play and is it good working order. The Nissan turbos used bolt on flanges on the compressor housing, so you'd need a little more than the usual relocated actuator to get this on a miata. Speaking of which, the actuator is junk on this one too. Currently, the housings are removed. Price is $250.

First 5 photos are of the 2554r. Buyer pays shipping. I will assemble the turbos for protection if local pickup isn't an option.

Thanks!!!!
Nick

If you're looking to trade up for a better MS, I've got a DIYPNP.
My DIYPNP needs a new Microsquirt daughterboard however, which is about 270$ from DIYAutotune.
It does however have the sequential injection and alternator control boards wired in.
I'd be interested in doing a straight trade for the 2560.

Mine is an MS2 daughterboard away from being just as powerful as a DIYPNP. Thanks for the offer though!

Rather interested in the 2560. I didn't know they came stock on any cars. Did you transplant in the billet wheel or was that stock as well? Also, can you elaborate on what would be necessary to make this work on a Miata? The bolt on flange is standard I thought?

Where are you located? Have quite a few things I could trade depending how close you are: Paint services, custom metal fabrication, a hard tonneau cover, home/car audio, hell I have a hardtop I could be talked out of with a good bit of cash on your side. Outside of cars I've got a variety of other things: old crappy project motorcycle, firearms/ammo and related training, silver, freediving lessons, a drinking buddy, shitty guitar lessons, and Nintendo 64 games.

Neither have billet wheels. You'd need a wastegate actuator, wastegate actuator bracket, and inlet and outlet flanges for the compressor housing. They can be bought from eBay for not too much money.
