Garrett Turbo $150 + shipping

Hey Dudes,

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but I am cleaning out the garage and I forgot I had this turbo. It has been sitting around packed up in a box with a light coat of oil on it. I was going to use it as a basis for a DIY build and even when so far as to ship it to Corky Bell and had him check it out to see if I could use it as part of a Shanghi kit, but it was going to cost too much to modify everything. By the way he said it checks out fine. So I know the turbo is good.

It is a turbo from a Nissan 300ZX single turbo set-up and is in excellent condition. It is a Garrett turbo made in Japan for Nissan. According to a thread here where we discussed it at length it is basically a T25 turbo, but it has a T3 inlet flange. I should perform like a 2554. Here is the three page thread where there are pictures of the turbo disassembled:

Make sure you read page 2 where there are maps and stuff.

On the outlet side of the compressor there is a 3 bolt flange with threaded holes. The turbo will come with an extension that matches that flange and bolts up to it and it extends out about 2" and is about 2" dia. With a plain end and a little bead all around so you can attach it to your intercooler piping using a coupling and some clamps. It's cast aluminum and it is OEM.

On he exhaust outlet side there is an extra cast iron elbow tha bolts to the turbine housing and turns down. It has a threaded fitting for a sensor and ends in a 3 bolt flange that looks to be a standard type exhaust flange. It is cast iron and it is OEM.

Sorry, I'm a noob, so I don't know what that is. Please explain. Thanks.

Center housing rotating assembly.

OK Thanks, but I am still unsure of exactly what you want measured. I am looking at the last picture in my original post where the turbo is partially disassembled. I am looking at the center housing portion of the turbocharger. Of exactly which diameter on there do you want a measurement?

Well... It was worth a try anyway. I must have been mistaken thinking that someone on here would want this turbo for a low budget custom set-up. Thanks anyway guys.

So cute!

I'd be all over it if it was a T25 flange.

Give it some time. Things have been moving slowly on here recently. It took me 5 months to sell a manifold and DP.
