The Emanage has been in my car for 4-5 years now and I have had zero issues with it. I put it in when I installed the Greddy turbo and just recently removed it to install a MSPNP. The only thing I cannot guarantee is the serial to USB adapter, so I will just include it for free. I used the cord last about 3 years ago when I went on the dyno and it worked fine. Otherwise everything looks new.

The turbo was on the car and running 10psi for years with no issues. However, when I sent it to Deadbolt for a rebuild they said it needed one for sure. Due to issues with their owner I had the turbo sent back to me. I am selling this turbo in rebuild needed condition. It also has a ring that looks to have been JB welded on the compressor inlet. Never affected anything, just wanted to mention it. I bought this used off this forum wayy back when from another member.

Interested in turbo. does it just need a basic/standard rebuild? or is that turbine wheel damaged?

 

Well (whatshisface) at Deadbolt tore it down and was gonna do a regular rebuild on it for me. We didn't get to extensive into what was needed or exactly how much because he said the parts were on 3-4 weeks order from Japan. I just had him put it back together and ship it back to me. I had sent it in for his rebuild service, port and polish, polished housing.....a bunch of stuff.

Turbo was strong for me for a little over 20k miles. I wanted the rebuild for peace of mind originally. If you want more pictures let me know.

Interested in the turbo, Do you have any pics of the JB welded spot? - Bryan

 

Look at the above picture of the compressor housings fins and you'll see a little black lump on the left. You'll see it go in a small ring around the compressor inlet. Well, that inlet has this ring welded around it for some reason.

I would say the JB welded ring isn't a big deal, never bothered me any. Its the rebuild that is the concern. I just want to stress that it needs rebuilt from what I was told.
