Default Group Buy - Stealth NA Turn Signal projector headlights

All,

I'm gearing up to offer a GB run of 5 turn signal headlight kits. The idea is based on aidanj's fabulous DIY guide here. With his permission, I've taken his idea, made some improvements and decided to offer a one-box solution. Here's what you get:

- Detailed step by step install guide
- Template of where to cut/drill
- Crystal clear turn signal lenses modified to fit the projector and halo assembly
- Genuine Hella 60mm projector with Halogen bulb, mounting hardware
- white/amber "switchback" LED halo ring for parking light/turn signal
- PNP wire harness for headlight bulb and turn signal/parking light.
- With the position of these reflectors, at least on my personal car, the STOCK LIGHTS STILL FIT, but it is way tight. Depending on production variances and your adjustment, they may not on your particular car, and could be some rubbing. If there is demand, I will consider offering a wiring harness to accommodate both the turn signal projector and the pop up lights.

Some things to consider:
- This is low beam only, but it's been my experience so far this is plenty of light on a street car. Light output is far better than stock low beam.
- when it comes to headlight covers, you're on your own. There are several options here, including race hoods without headlight cutouts, or the nice rivet on brackets from Singular motorsports.
- I don't know the lighting laws in your area, so its going to be up to you to make sure you're not violating any laws.
- your turn signals will flash fast. I don't currently provide a solution for that - but there are DIY writeups out there.
- Moisture buildup behind the parking light lenses will sometimes happen. This is due to the modified lenses having an open back to accommodate the projector.
- This WILL require cutting on on your car in the front apron area to accommodate the size of the projectors. You will still be able to go back to your stock headlights - and those cuts won't be visible - but a car is only original once. Priming & painting the cut area to prevent rust is STRONGLY recommended

The price for this kit will be $250 shipped in the US. To get started I'm asking for 5 people for $100 deposit so I can gauge demand and get parts ordered. ETA for shipping is 3 weeks after Last deposit is received. If we don't get 5 people to sign up within one week, I'll go ahead and get those kits made. If there is significant demand, I'll do another run later - but not more than 5 at this time. If I for some reason can't deliver the kit on time, I will refund the deposit at buyers request. I will do my best to meet this ETA, but the lead time is mostly for parts I have to order from suppliers I don't control. Remainder of payment due when kits are ready to ship, before delivery.

Payment via paypal mx5tuner at gmail.com - please send your Mt.net screen name as well.

Projectors - This was taken in my driveway, obviously, which from the car is approx. 100 ft. long. It lights up the woods across the street nicely.. they are aimed a little high, though.

Regarding the turn signals flashing fast, known around as "hyperflash". Yes there is a way to solder a different sized resistor into your flasher relay unit. The instructions are out there. Ive done it and it works.

But I just saw that Jass Performance has a flasher relay that is already setup to accomodate LEDs and should solve this too. Around $35 if I remember...

Oh nice! I had been looking for a PNP solution since switching to LEDs years ago. Just never got around to modifying my flasher.

All the parts - except for the halos - are on the way! Still waiting for ETA on those. If I don’t have one soon I will find another solution and keep everyone updated.

I did this mod using a donor flasher from Ebay and 1M Ohm resistor. Works as advertised. LED's flash and it's normal speed.
