Metal, the ceramic ball comes with the Pro RX kits. FWIW they talk up the improved response time with the ceramic ball, but I was not been able to tell a real difference. I've gotten to use them back to back before which is why I spent less for just the Pro kit.

If this is still available after I sell my slowboy I'll get it. I hate having to use a allen wrench. I'm sure this will be gone by next weekend either way.
