Harddog Fabrication Low profile Hard top side latches
 

I got these last weekend as part of a package deal. Turns out I don't need them as the OEM latches work with my sport bar.

If you have a Hard Core bar, these are what you need.

This is a stolen pic, the set I have are slightly different on one side to allow for even more clearance. I'll get actual pics tonight when I can find the camera.

is the "slightly different" one using a piece of angle iron? if so, that'd be my mod and it is totally reversible.

Is this for if you have a hardcore none hardtop version?

Or if you have two racing seats bolted to the floor, making the standard side latches a bitch/impossible to use. Hard to justify $125, though. Good luck with the sale.

the difference is that the bar sits in front of where the side latches would be.

Had a chance to buy a Hard Dog Single diagonal for 300 bucks and didnt because I wasnt sure if it would fit with the blasted hard top. Even Tom at Bethania told me it wouldnt fit.

Then buy mine :giggle:

All the non-hardtop bars work with the hard top IF you have these latches? :doh:

My hard top bar doesnt work with my stock latches.

This blows big donkey balls. I knew I should bought that roll bar and fucked the latches either way, god damnit.

Wow.... You know, you would think they would be specific about this on their web site. I always ass-umed that it would not CLEAR the hard top, and was not just a latch issue. Looks like it even clears with padding.

Its 1 day later and im still kicking myself in the ass for passing up the deal. Should bought it and if it didnt fit just sold the shit.

yeah, no shit... I'm glad I didn't buy yet either.

For others that are confused, or not sure what to do about side latches. you can also get the solid hardtop mounts from safe racer. a more permanent fixture, but far easier to remove even than trying to open the latch with the roll bar in the way.

Or you could just buy these. :)
