Looks to be a lsd, judging from the damper. I'd say it's a torsen II

 

My non lsd has the big rubber weight.

 

Do you know if the VMaxx springs are sport or track rates?

Not a reason to conclude that at all. All 1.8 diffs from manual-trans cars had the damper. Let's just wait for the pictures instead of speculating.
