Default JDM BP5A ecu

selling a bp5a ecu I've had laying around for a while. If installed on a nb1 it raises the redline to 7500 rpm. $125 shipped.

It also requires you to rework your fuel system if you want it to run remotely correctly.

Still a neat piece and a solid price, but it's not "just that easy" lol.

Sorry to piggyback your post, but if anyone is interested in the ECU I have the throttle body mass damper that allows the BP5A to safely rev to 7500. As you probably know, there have been quite a few nightmare stories of throttle bodies coming apart and grenading the engine at high rpms. BP5As come with the mass damper stock to remedy the issue.

Your good brother. Nobody wants my ECU, I'm pretty sad about it.

I have been considering converting my BP4W to essentially being a BP5A with the ECU being one of the major components. Could you all provide some more insight on what you are talking about here?

What is different about the fuel systems?

What is the "throttle body mass damper"?

BP5A is vac-referenced return system. BP4W is non-referenced returnless.

BP5A ecu with BP4W fuel system = drown your car in fuel.
BP4W ecu with BP5A fuel system = car barely runs because lean
