The way that I did it was I took it apart cut the seal outand plugged the holes and put it back together. What ever way that was that is how I did it.

What's the build date? Interesting in the shifter assembly if it's the first (smaller) style 6speed shifter.

The car is an 01 so if that will have to be the determinaning factor. If you want the shifter you can have it for 850 plus shipping. And get this I will throw in a free six speed trans.
