FS: BP4A head with Supertech oversize valves and Stg 1 springs
 

Selling my complete cylinder head from a 99 engine. Has about 500 miles on it since it was rebuilt with the valvetrain.

The good: Has supertech single spring upgrade with titanium retainers and supertech oversize/backcut intake and exhaust valves. New sealed power guides were installed with the valves. Also has trackspeed coolant next delete kit. Intake ports were port matched at the opening to the phenolic gasket that will be included. I will also include a bunch of valve adjustment discs so you can spec it to your cams.

The not so good: The cam journals have some scuffing from debris in the oil. I think they are usable/can be polished by a machine shop. The engine ran great, and it had great oil pressure all the way up to it being disassembled.

That being said, there are over $700 in aftermarket parts included, let alone the $550 I spent on machine work. Being that it needs some work, I am asking $750 shipped OBO.

Not trying to dump on your head. But $700 for a incomplete head which may or may not be usable is way out of the market.

You would be much better off trying to sale the parts separately.

Not at all trying to tell you what to do, just trying to help.

No prob, appreciate the feedback. I priced it pretty much on the parts that are in it, and the cost to ship. Open to reasonable offers.

On it's condition, if I was keeping a BP setup in the car, I would be keeping it and using it myself.

I may be interested in your head, but it may take another two weeks to get the funds. Do you have any paperwork for the parts/machining labor?

Exactly which valves? Is it only +1mm or will the reliefs have to be modified on the pistons? Is it possible to get a machine shops assessment on the journal surfaces before one commits to the purchase? Might be able to safe on shipping if sending the crank and head together lol

I'm surprised nobody wants to buy these to build a COP harness. It's kinda intimidating hacking up your only harness, especially on a daily driver.

Do you know what years the harness will work on? I already have cops but intent to go to the GM coils at some point and wouldnt mind have a fresh harness to work with. I have car is a 95 but the head is a 99.

FS: 99 block bored to 84mm with matching Supertech low comp pistons - Cleveland, OH
 

This setup has 500 miles on it since assembly. The pistons are 84mm supertech 8.6:1 pistons with supertech rings. The block is a 99 block bored to 84mm and the deck was surfaced at the same time. There are no known problems, no grooves/scratches in the bores. Pistons are marked to which cylinder they came from, as the rings are bedded (if you did not want to replace them). Original instructions for pistons will be included. Asking $500 OBO picked up near Cleveland, OH (no shipping).
