Dismantled a couple laptops and now i have some extra memory. Tested to be working just fine.

how many slots do you have? I cannot find any information on that model number :(

 

I think 2 slots, P4, should be the same as the 310 and the 311 (no v)

 

dude crucial has a 2stick, 4gig kit of PC2-5300 for $113... but if you can beat that pricing, i'll look at see how many slots I have open.

best memory for price! newegg has it.

 

Ben, Open your desktop and take one of the memory stick out. Read the sticker and it should say something like PC3200,PCxxx,etc... If you have two slot and it's a P4. Then probably the max is 2GB at the most.

I'm at work, the computer's at home, and if Mike works at a computer shop. I figured he had a book or a program that would reference the correct chip to my machine, and I'd just drive over and pick it up from him. I'm like 10 minutes from him.
