Link Piggy, Keypad, Intake Manifold, and 310 Injectors

I have for sale a lightly used

- Link Piggy back ECU
- The keypad
- The lower manifold with the injector bosses TIG Welded on
for 4 aux injectors
- 4 310cc Injectors
- The harness for everything listed above.

I got this setup when I purchased the FMII for my '99. I have decided to go to a Standalone ECU and want to sell this setup.

I just noticed the sticky that says that we have to post a price so I'm going to start kinda high with a "or B/O" b/c I have no idea what this stuff should go for.

$1000 or B/O will take it all. I don't want to separate yet until I get offers, unless there is someone for every part. I don't want to be stuck with some part of the system that no one can use without another part.

Let me know if you are interested, all offers will be entertained.

Joel

You sold the Link Piggy and Keypad for $250? I don't think I'm too high you just sold for too low:)

I talked to another member and they said they sold everything that I am offering for $1000... so that is what I just lowered it to.

Is the TurboLink the unit that FM sold with their 99+ kits? It wasn't just a "Link"??

IntrnlStorm 03-09-2007 08:46 PM

This is the piggy back link that can be used with all '99-'03 Miatas. It will alter the signals that the ECU sends and will throw back the codes needed to pass inspections. The extra manifold allows the use of four extra injectors so that the needed fuel is available without sacrificing off boost drivability.

I had a question weather or not I would separate the items. I would separate the manifold, injectors, and the link. I will not separate the Link's components, i.e. the Keypad. If you are interested in a part, shoot me an email or PM

Thanks for looking...

is the "link piggy" different from the "link" sold with the FM2?

steelrat 03-21-2007 12:33 PM

90-> 97 links are full replacement ECUs.....
the 99+ links were always the piggy backs, controlling 4 additional injectors in the manifold.......

I think it was because of the newer ECUs or controls for the VICS/VVT or whatever but FM never offered the full ECU link for the M2's. Either way, that's what you got with the 99+ FM2 kits. On the M1 kits, you got the full replacement board/ECU. <G>

Dave,

The NB ecu also has to regulate the alternator, where the standalone Link already has all its options maxed out with knock sensing and boost control.

The link piggy is still a piggy, like an emanage or xede. So it can only manipulate the stock signals, not create new ones, and would be limited in tuning compared to a stand alone. Which is a shortfall, but simultaneously nice if your state has OBDII inspections.

Edit: If not sold by 4/6 I'm going to use it and hold off going to standalone.
