You think that it's just because of all the options? I still see Bipes ACU's going for around $170-180, which is the same price as when I was looking at them 5 years ago.
The piggybacks certainly can't compare to the full ecus like the AEM, hydra, TEC3, or even MSPNP for adjustability, but for entry level fuel control, they are a good, inexpensive alternative, IMHO. The Bipes unit, in comparison, can adjust timing based on rpm, temp, etc. but sounds like it's a PITA with dip switches (anyone who has actually used one comment?). I would think the most comparable to a Link Piggyback would be the Greddy emanage blue.

yeah - after someone buys his, someone buy mine. :-) I got the manifold and everything with it, though I'd be on the fence about using it over just having an injector or injector ring by the throttle body.
and for those naysayers, it's not a bad system, really, ran it for years and was plenty plenty quick. You just have to know what you're in for with it.
