Hey Guys I have a mazda 1.8 4cw crank up for grabs if anyone wants it. Its a cast crank but still very strong. I ran it for a while at 30psi with no issues. Its lighter than the miata 8 cw crank so may be a little snappier on rev up. This one has been ground .25mm. Could use a polish job now as its been run for a while, but in good condition otherwise. $200 ship to lower 48.
Hey Newaza, I actually just bought a 1.8 block to build a forged bottom end on the side. I may be interested in this... You said $200 shipped? Is there any reason not to go with the 4 cw crank? I only have a 2560r and maxing that out is the highest I plan to go. How come you are getting rid of it?

I ran this crank a number of years ago with a substantially smaller turbo and less aggressive tuning than I run these days. Was likely in the mid to upper 300s hp range when I was running this crank. I'm probably something over 500hp these days going off my weight and trap speed. I know there have been some guys out there in 323 world that have successfully pushed these cranks really high, but I Would rather run forged cranks at my power level these days. I have a couple extra forged cranks and several blocks so dont really need this crank anymore.
I'm starting to sell off some things I don't think I'll ever run again. trying to make some room to build up a bad boy big turbo 3.5 ecoboost motor I picked up recently.....

The only hesitation I have is that I want a super smooth running, well balanced street engine when I'm done. Did you notice any additional nvh over the fully counterweighted cranks? I wont be revving it past 7200 and I'm really just trying to find resources on if this is the right way to go or if I should just buy another oem miata crank.
