The valve cover wouldnt happen to be for a 99-00 with provisions for the Hall sensor?

Those pieces are pretty cool. Your prices are awesome compared to the stuff on ebay. Good lucks.

That v/c looks absolutely Titts! not my fav color but damn nice.

I believe its for a 1991-1998 1.6L, 1.8L

RotorNutFD3S 02-19-2010 08:05 PM

Sounds like it's for a 1.6 then. You can't put a 1.6 cover on a 1.8.

pumaking 02-19-2010 08:06 PM

Thanks for clarification Rotor. I couldn't remember what was what, been out of the game for years.

kotomile 02-19-2010 09:59 PM

Coilpack mounts to the driver's side, so yeah 1.6.

Wow, super nice. IF that valve cover was VVT I would buy it. It matches my car :(

Did you use to work for a powder coating shop?

18psi 02-20-2010 01:45 AM

Not a fan of chrome manifolds but both those items look AWESOME. Great prices too.

Nope I do it for fun at a friends garage. Im selling these because the person who commissioned me to do these flaked.

p51hellfire 02-21-2010 01:17 AM

well if your game get some cheap ones and PC then sell I'd be down for one with exposed gears for a 1.6 :)

pumaking 02-21-2010 10:17 AM

well if you want send me a pm and we can go from there.

That looks great. Too bad teal isn't a color I like, or I'd probably want.

What was your technique on the lettering? I can't figure out how you got such straight lines between the black/teal and silver.

pumaking 02-21-2010 03:07 PM

After baking the marble base, and teal. Mask the whole cover so that the only thing exposed is the recessed letters. Spray the powder, once happy, using a sponge brush or finger run across the letters. Put tape over the letters so you didn't spill anything or lose powder. brush off whatever is on top of the cover. Remove tape and bake again.

I can vouche for pumaking if anyone is concerned about buying from a low post count member... Known him for QUITE awhile on another forum.

llink78 02-26-2010 03:06 PM

i know its kinda a lowball but 100+shipping for both? wish the vc was a red instead of teal

buffon01 02-26-2010 03:08 PM

OP where are you located?? for some reason I saw similar parts while look in CL in the South Florida area. I would be interested in a 1.8 with exposed cam gears, PM a quote.
