Supra441979 on this board. It was a bit dusty from sitting, but the turbo is nice and shiney. I wiped it down. Shaft spins freely. He sold it to me as a new unit, and there is no reason to doubt it isnt new.

Here is the original thread.

https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-parts-sale-trade-5/lots-turbo-parts-sale-10946/

I took it out of the box and wrapper to inpect it. Then I wrapped it up, and put it back in the box where it has been sitting ever since.

I was going back and forth about turbo set ups. I already had my IHI, mani, and dp set up when I got this one. I was thinking that I would use this eventually, but I would need to get a T25 mani, dp and flange for this turbo.

no the pattern is different, and not by the top center bolt hole either. The two studs that are closer together are more centered on the hosuing than a 5bolter. The five bolter moves the two studs lower towards one end because of the 5th bolt on the top. ATP has a universal flange for the Garretts, but it has multiple bolt patterns. I never got around to asking it if would work with this particular turbo. Here are a few more pics.

No kidding! I had a beat on a T25 BEGI mani and DP, then oops....DP no fit...It will obviously work for someone that has some fab skills and access to equipment...I don't have either of those.

i am interested, but i want to know a little more about the turbo.

can the compressor housing be clocked without having to drill and tap new mounting holes for the wastegate actuator?

is it a plain bearing?

what is the actuator pressure?

Marty, its a journal bearing, the wastegate actuator would have to be changed, I cut mine and just welded it where I wanted it on the bracket
