Nvm I googled it. It is pulled slightly over but would that really matter that much?

Yes. It happened to me also on that turbo.

And while I can't say if the alignment procedure is identical for the MKTurbo provided turbos, Andrew threw a quick video up on YouTube on how to align the actuator on the EFR turbos

So I aligned the actuator almost perfect. Still won't close the wastegate when hot.

You got an email. I am guessing something in the v-band outlet housing where the wastegate actuator passes through isn't perfect and that is causing the issue.

FYI this is the same turbo I posted (but haven't yet installed) in post #1986.

@tehzack , any idea on rough power level @ 20PSI?

Also, wondering how much wastegate porting you've done, I've hogged out quite a bit from the turbine housing in anticipation...

Haven't dyno'd it yet. I have to imagine it's over 300whp if it's running 1/8th miles that equivalate to 11.6-11.7 1/4's.

I just traced the flapper on the wastegate and ported to roughly that size. I didn't go crazy on it.

Did you use the internal wastegate vband adapter from the original MK turbo kit? I tried on another larger turbo I bought and the flapper was way off. I looked at others on ebay but they all look the same ...

Check post 1986.

I purchased one that apparently Lars uses as well. It lined up alright, I ended up bending it a bit to get better coverage so I could port more.

Haven't tried it with the one Lars originally sent but I suspect it would be the same.

Dyno'd the new setup today. 350whp/323wtq at 250kpa on 93 octane (not going to re-visit that boost for street usage)

I am finally getting with the 21rst century and launching a Facebook page. You can find it HERE.

For the launch I am running a sale until the end of April. $100 off DIY setups, $150 off IC setups, $200 off complete setups. Currently lead times are about 2 weeks for most setups. I have slowly been working on getting ahead and have a ton of parts finished on hand.

Do you have the page settings private or to America only? Tried clicking the link it says it's broken, searched using Facebook and cannot find the page.

It might be set to US only, I would have to go check. I don't ship out of the continental US due to costs.

I went and checked the page settings. It should be open to the world. Not sure why exactly you can't get to it.

Diagrams for Which Rubber and pipe goes where? Ive got 3 of the silicone adapters, 2 Fit the E sized pipe, one Fits the smaller. Obviously E pipe goes from the intake, just dont know about the others.

On a side note, anyone had any luck keeping the compressor housing from rusting? High temp Paint?
